Yorkies and other small breeds are prone to LP. There are different levels....the lower the better. If they are born with it (Level I) there may never be a problem. If it is caused by an accident (jumping, etc.) then it is an immediate problem. They are just so little and jump and run like crazy. I, myself, wouldn't jump right into another surgery since he has just been trough one. I'd confine him for a few days and see how it goes (don't feel cruel, you would be doing this if he did have surgery. Also, how bad is the limp? Does he cry out? That would by unbearable...and surgery would probably be a necessity....but only after making sure going under 2 times so soon wouldn't hurt him. PLEASE let us know how your little guy is getting along. I hope your vet can give you some awsome news after a few days!
