Well I drove over and looked at that little Maltese, and he had an adoption pending. Plus they wanted $250 to adopt him.
So I guess I got lucky.
In our shelter, you have to fill out an application to adopt and then bring in any other dogs that you have to see if they will get along. It's not a walk in and walk out with a dog.
