I am so sorry! Cali has a mild liver disease that was first suspected because of elevated Bile acids on her blood test and confirmed with a liver biopsy. Fortunately it is mild and I just keep her on a low protein food. But she had many trips to the vet and ER vet in her first 9 months. She was a very poor eater and I started feeding her a very lean chicken with 17% protein and Missing Link supplement which has something in it for their digestive system and she has improved tremendously. She has put on weight and loves to eat now. You definately need to have vet get a definate diagnosis so you can get him on the right diet and meds if necessary. Also, sometimes surgery can correct the problem. Good luck and keep us posted. |
