Poor little girl!!!! I hate that she doesn't feel good. She is just precious, by the way. In my opinion, since the vet said that she had the ear infection BEFORE she was shipped, the breeder should be held liable for the meds. In a non-confrontational way, I would get your aunt to call the breeder and tell her that Zoie has an ear infection that the vet said she contracted BEFORE she left the breeder. Get your aunt to fax the breeder documentation from the vet and a phone # to the vet that the breeder can call in case she has any questions. I am sure if all of this is done, the breeder should consent to paying for the meds. I think the key would be going about it the right way in a nonaccusing, nonconfrontational manner. The breeder may not have known that Zoie even had an ear infection, you know? But that doesn't let her off the hook...she should still be liable for the bill, IMO.
Let us know what comes of it!
