I rent my steam cleaners (from the Jewel) and I buy the cleaner, and also a pet stain/enzyme pre-treatment that you simply squirt over the stained area and leave it on until you do the regular cleaning with the machine. This has always worked for me and my dog, although I have never used a blacklight to check. it did help stop the accidents though..
