congrats on the new addition to your family . poor dog kept just for breeding! i have a cat that i got from the vet the breeder left him there because he had ringworms! she had"too many cats" he's a cfa persian black anyways i believe he was in the same situation but was still young still and hasn't been out of a cage his whole life i believe until i got him! he took a week to come out from hiding! he still will only come to me though nobody else but he's fine now. they get very attached to the main person caring for them feeding brushing petting & so on he likes to sleep by me almost nightly. they do need some time to adjust.
