If a dog is soft or cottony, it does not change...what can change is, grooming out the knotted puppy hair and the adult coat can be a bit better with conditioners and such...but when you shave the wool from a sheep, silk does not grow back..same with a Yorkie...a short cut will be easy to care for and healthy for the dog...best wishes |
