Jaxon turned 9 months this week and had been doing great with the puppy pads. We added one up stairs to help with night time pees/poops since he wasn't going down the stairs on his own (until this week).
On the main level he has the laundry room with 2 pads, which has been the same for ages. No issues with pees, but he's now pooping in the diningroom, even after going outside for a walk.

I've been trying to get him using the bells for going outside but no luck so far.
Any suggestions?? Do I go back to confining him to a smaller space? Punishing him? Putting a bed where he's been pooping??
Luckily 90% of the time, it's an easy pick up but really not ideal. If you have ideas or can tell me what's helped you, that would be great.
