I think every puppy will be different as to their tolerance. If he likes to stand and can't really do it in your bag, then I would probably get a larger one. Sissy doesn't like being in a bag at all. She prefers to be carried (spoiled rotten). I feel fortunate that she loves her new car seat, so at least that problem is solved!!
Based on some of the posts here and the many places folks take their pups, it seems like some of them are in the bag for a while and really enjoy it. Not sure I'm helping here!!!
