I think having there teeth cleaned by the vet is more thorough, they check for baby teeth that haven't fallen out or decayed teeth, etc. if necessary they pull it. At the groomers they just hand brush with toothpaste. They quoted me about $175 for Lilly's cleaning and that didn't include any pain meds if needed! I'm haven't done it yet because the anesthetia and putting them under makes me nervous. ~lizette
