from what I have read and understand, any dirivitive of corn is hard for them to digest and is used as a filler. Corn gluten is included in this. Cottage cheese and carrots should be fine. Just introduce them in small amounts and one at a time, just to make sure you can identify if she doesn't get along well with one!
Not to hijack your thread, but is wheat as bad as corn? I've noticed some bags having wheat dirivitives listed, but I've never read anyone talk about wheat! |
