They were leaving her in a little tiny crate for 13 to 14 hours a day. She could not stand up or turn around in it. I offered to go let her out one night when I heard they were going out to dinner and she had already been locked up since 6 AM. I knew that they had been crating her but I did not know that they had her in such a little tiny crate. Once I saw that, I took her home and told them they could not have her back. The girlfriend was a little mad but she got over it. I actually think that they were kind of relieved because they knew they weren't being fair to her. At my house, she has use of a doggie door to a huge enclosed deck, 2 other dogs to play with and I only work a seven hour day and go home at lunch to let them out. She is so the sweetest dog because she was not used to getting much attention.
Wow!!! and all you asked was how many dogs. Sorry I just had to share because she is adjusting so well and is completely housebroken and never chews things up like she did at their house.
I feel blessed to have 3 dogs. |
