If you like the Shih Tzu's don't let their high maintenance bother you. IMO they are only high maintenance if you let them be. I always kept my Shih Tzu cut short to avoid this and she would let me do anything I had to, to her.
They are a wonderful breed. Just keep your options open. Then again there are lots of wonderful toy breeds out there. |
