I did have the heating pad underneath in the beginning before Princess really took to her pups. The Vet said as long as the Mommy is with them, and they are not in any draft, they told me not to use the heating pad. At that time, Princess was staying in her bed next to the pups in there box, and the vet told me to take her bed away so that it will encourage her to sleep with the pups and that is what happened. Now the pups are pretty much on, or under her all the time. Is that normal? Do you think its because they are cold that they are snuggling so much? We have them in the bathroom, actually in a walkin shower. There is no vent near them, no fan, and it is the warmest room in the house. Here in S. Fla it is hard to keep our house temp above 80 during the day, so it doesn't seem like it would be cold for them. What do you think?
