What vet are you using ?
We go to Burnhamthorpe Animal Hospital (on Burnhamthorpe Rd. obviously) it's about 3 min. west of the intersection of Burnhamthorpe and Hurontario. I'm not sure where you're located, but if you're reluctant to have the procedure done because you question the capabilities of your vet, maybe you should change vets? Not necessarily Burnhamthorpe, I'm sure there are lots of other good ones around. I looked in the yellow pages for mine and just lucked out - plus it's really close to me. The staff is fantastic - even the reception which says alot about a place I think. I highly recommend this vet clinic and I have seen other yorkies there too.
