My nephew and niece in law want a Yorkie and have been asking me a million questions about breeders. I've told him to insist on information about the parents, to ask for a health guarantee, to see how long the breeder has been in business. Any questions I'm missing?

He was also wondering if I could recommend a breeder in his area. How about it, YTers: Do any of you know of a reputable breeder in the Modesto, Calif., area? He travels to the S.F. Bay Area frequently, so that's an option too.

I believe they are looking for a pet quality purebred.
