it greatly depends on where you are located some of the reasons yorkies and other small dogs are so high i think are because smaller dogs usually don't have that many babys at once maybe 3 or 4 compared to larger dogs that can have 10-14, the lineage..ch parents also size the smaller a yorkie is the more they sale for and so on i payed $500 each for both of mine here in al but they didn't exactly come from top of the line show breeders i guess. most of the more expensive puppies are older when they leave their homes like they should be, have all shots worming health guarentees family history parents that have been tested /checked for genetic defaults and so on. |
