Default Could this be kennel cough?

The day we brought Elle home I noticed ( later in the day) that she had a lil cough. I made an apt with my vet to have her looked over for the puppy agreement, with the breeder, as well check out her cough. It seemed to have gotten a lil worse over night. She had a temp of 101 at the vets office. He gave her a shot of something and then put her on antibiotics. He told me that she just has a lil cold from not being used to the air conditioning. ( going from 98 degrees outside and 70 degrees inside was what triggered it, or so he thought)
It's been 2 weeks now,and I have seen some improvement. But she still has that slight cough every now and then. She eats just fine, plays great, and sleeps soundly. I notice it more in the morning when I first get her out of her crate.
Does anyone think this could be kennel cough? The more I read on here the more I think it could be. Or does anyone have any other ideas?
