Also - if you later decide to breed you yorkie and say she has 3 pups and you end up selling them even as low as 1,000 each - well by the PAWS bills you need a USDA license now since you went over the
2,500 a year selling. They do not take into account the cost of vet checks, maybe you ended up with a c-section, and there is always the pups check, dewclaws and tail removal, vaccines, etc... not incuding your time you stay up with the mom and pups tocare for them. Yes they do havethe over selling of 25 dogs - none of us would have that, but they still have included 2,500 - which could be any of us that end up having A litter.
They also use the term resale in this bill - which means anyone that sells not at wholesale - which then excludes the puppymills - since they sell at wholesale. So this bill excludes them! People do not realize this - thinking this is a bill that is suppose to stop puppymills when in actuality it does Not.
