Lex will be eight months in another week and a half. He has had run of the first floor of the house since he was very small. He will go on a wee wee pad that is left out if my husband and daughters neglect his needs during the day while I am at work. I have yet to allow him upstairs unless he has a totally empty bladder being as it's carpeted. He is so not allowed in the basement because the support pillars he seems to think are his very own indoor hydrants. Hope that helps.
