There are also other organizations but I think this is enough to get you started

I try to read as much as I can from any organization that is a pet advocate organization even if I don't agree with everything they do or say. I also found it interesting when PAWS first started that AKC was against it so I did some research and even asked breeders on here what their thoughts were. The best I can understand today is that most clubs were against this bill at first because it was poorly written but even with all the changes most members are still against it but I believe it is because they have not really taken the time to study the changes that have gone into place.
