I take all our pups with us when we go for rides. Shopping, only to PetSmart, and then only under supervision. One rule I will always follow, never, never leave the pups in a vehicle alone even for one second. I do take leashes and halters in case of a breakdown on the road. (You can never be too careful. Also I take some dry food and water and have it just in case. Its kinda like taking a diaper bag for a baby
