Okay, here goes. Keep that youngun home til she has had ALL of her shots. And, til her immune system is developed enough to fight off any "bugs" that the others might be carrying that do not affect them but could cause real problems in young puppies.
I am speaking from experience--I am dealing with Giardia--Never, never had it in all my years of breeding but I decided to take my 4, 15-week old Biewer babies out in my own front yard in an Xpen for different scenery..BIG mistake. They contracted giardia and it is miserable for them to have the runs and for me to treat them with the meds PLUS clean EVERYTHING with bleach water and keep them away from the others. Hand sanitizing companies stock has gone up 10 % just from my purchases!!!! LOL
Seriously, we do have to be careful where and when we expose these babies to other critters. Your relatives will understand that you are just protecting your baby...
