My mom is getting a Yorkie, or so she has been told by the current owner. (current owner is giving Reese to her at no charge due to new baby). The lady told her it's a Yorkie even on his papers. But mom tells me that he's long and sort of short legged, he has a long muzzle too. I explained he's most likely a Silky. He is eating Dog Chow? Some yucky kind of food, and the owner has been bathing him in Johnson&Johnson Baby Shampoo, ugggh. Mom said he has course hair, and he sheds. Sounds to me that he's a silky in BAD NEED of TLC. New kibble (like Canidae, Nutro, etc) and shampoo and conditioner (BioSilk or something)....

What do you think? Maybe his hair is coarse and falling out due to those conditions and possible allergies?
