Love Nutri-Cal

Hi alonsdale, I agree with Lacy's Mom. I also give the Nutri-Cal, however...I only give it to him at night before he goes to bed, and any time we have to leave him home by himself during the day (even if we are just running to the gas station or whatever - because you never know when their blood sugar is going to drop!). I have also given him regular Pancake/Waffle syrup, but I much prefer the Nutri-Cal because as Lacy's Mom said, it has other beneficial ingredients rather than just sugar. It is Vet recommended and you can find it at your local Pet Smart (don't know if you have one in your area??), your vet's office probably sells it, or heck, even some local feed stores here in town carry it. Just look around - isn't hard to find! I get mine at Pet Smart for about $6-$7 bucks. Just squeeze some on the tip of your finger and they lick it right off - they love it! It's thicker than the syrup so there is no syringe needed. Hope that helped ya some!
