He still fits on my lap, in his purse/carrier thing, in his car seat, etc. Please don't freak out if your dogs are a little bigger - Yorkies are tiny dogs. You are brining home 7.5 week old dogs, you need to realize you have bigger things to worry about. Get those dogs in classes as soon as they get their shots. Yorkies NEED socialization. If you are that concerned that they will top 4.5 pounds then wait until they are older to bring them home. No one can tell you how big they are going to be at this age.
Just FYI, the best breeders of ANY breed do not let their pups go until 12 weeks. There is too much socialization from mom that they miss and they are not past their imprint stages... there are too many variables. Please be careful. |
I copmletely agree but it's not that i have to have a 4 lb dog i will love it anyway no matter what and this is the breeers first litter and she is going out of

town and has the vets approval to let them go also we will be bringing home two of them from the same litter so they will have each other to socialize with also i have two cats so they will be with a lot of animals. i also plan to take them with me a lot to help with the new people thing as well. I am concerned about their well being first and not their size this was just a fun post to see about what other babies weighed at this age. Thanks for the concern and i get them tomarrow so i will keep everyone updated
