My Jolene has CT as well. She is only 3 and is easily set off by excitement and thunderstorms as well. We have her on a sedative for storms to keep her calm as well as on cough suppressants. I have read ALOT about the procedures at UT and they seem to be top-notch. YTNR has a fund for yorkies in need of financial support for surgery. Check them out and maybe they can help. Good luck.
