So Sammy got a buzzcut ? Poor baby - but aside from the visual - I bet it feels good ! OK - I have a few thoughts that may help cause I remember Chanels botched grooming job very well...
1st - Try not to laugh hysterically at him when he walks by or is playing
2nd - Put a shirt on him so he doesn't feel naked
3rd - Tell him everyday that he is the best looking yorkie around and the shaved look is sexy - Look at The Rock...Charles Barkley...Kojac...
They ALL look skinny when they get a shave ...lol..Mine looked like Sampson the Lion
It'll grow !! but in the meantime you have a fresh start to growing his coat back and just try to brush the short coat as if it's a long coat that way you won't have any more knots to deal with - I know lots of yorkies after surgery have the same problem with matting - chances are it won't get that bad again ...I would LOVE to see a pic of him but don't want to embarrass him on the internet !
