First, it's possible for a litter to have two fathers. Is the background of the father smaller or larger than 6.5#. I would just make sure to keep a vet involved and do an x-ray to make sure her hips are wide enough for the puppies. If not, I would still think you are okay, but looking at the extra expense of having a c-section performed.
Second, without a signed contract I really doubt she can do anything. I am a little confused about the dates you left your dog with the stud dog. If your dog tied with her at day 9 and you are sure about the dates I don't think a tie probably occurred earlier and maybe that is why she wants $500, rather than a puppy. I always want to witness the mating and have a signed contract to prevent problems like this. |
