as far as the belly bands are concerned. you need to keep a close eye on him to see when he is actually peeing. if you do and immidately take him out side or to his pad (which ever you use), it shouldn't make any difference whether he has a belly band or not. only the messes.
I have tiled floor so It wasn't such a big deal with me. my mop bucket it vinegar water was always handy. LOL (and I used it a lot)

I'm going crazy!! all i can do is sit on here and read and ask questions to get the days by lol!
I'm just so worried i have wanted a yorkie for 3 yrs now and i have read so much about them and seen all the complications that they can have when they are little and i am bringing these guys home pretty early 7.5 wks since the breeder is going out of town and i would rather make sure they are properly cared for than have a dog sitter. I just hope they will be ok you guys are a great support group and true yorkie lovers i only hope with exoeriance i can help someone like you have helped me!
