Default wrapping

I am old school...if a coat is dry and brittle...find out why? Wrapping would not be an answer IMO...wrappers can rub against the skin, hair and cause breakage on a brittle coat... the bands should be tight, but not too tight.
I have used silk and just about anything you can find...years ago I used those old diaper liners from Sears. Deli wrap, tissue paper, you name it...but I find rice paper great and plastic for the body. I like the wraps I got from Lanie.

I have redone wraps on a daily basis...removing, spritzing and brushing hair, rewrapping with clean wraps...I got a floor length coat at 10 months and full facial furnishing..that paid off as the dog won 10 AKC shows in a row...and finished.
I have let the wraps go for 3 to 4 days..but doesn't work best for me...I perfer no more then every other day with a daily check AM/PM...and I changed the face once a day. I only wrapped Kate's for about 2 months and it grew so fast..now Emee has undone that work....LOL
I think it depends on the coat and activity level of the dog..best wishes
