Linda-
Please hang in there. Sometimes life just sucks!!
Last year was my year from h#ll; my beloved aunt unexpectedly passed away at at 56 on January 29. I had to immediately go to KS cause I was the executor of the estate and my cousins temporary legal guardian (she is mentally ill). Everything was a total disaster. My other cousin fought me every step of the way when I was following my aunt's orders exactly. After 3 weeks I was asked to leave and told not to return. I no longer have contact with either cousin and have received a bill for $19,000 to the estate!! My husband's mother was also sliding downhill. He was spending much time doing things for her in the Assisted Living facility. He then lost his job in June. This gave him much time to spend with his mom before she passed in August, but it took 4 months and a 60% pay cut for him to find another position. Our benefits now such beyond measure and we had to tell our kids they are on their own for college expenses now.
The only good thing that happened was Sissy coming into my life in November. But that was after a littler of pups (that I had a deposit on) passed away too. This year has been better, but we remain financially strapped with crappy benefits. I just keep telling myself "this too shall pass".
I know it is difficult, but keep your chin up. It will get better.
