Rain What a freakin' year!

Just when you think things are starting to turn around, BAM, everything falls apart. That little black cloud just keeps following me around. This year is almost half over and it continues to go down hill every day. To start with, this year is the big 6-0! That alone is enough to make it a bad year especially for someone who still feels like I did when I was 30 but sees a stranger in the mirror. January 21st was my last day working at JoAnn fabrics.....it was seasonal. On the 23rd I had to call my husband home from work to take me to the chiropractor because I could not stand up without getting dizzy. And I'm not talking a little dizzy, I couldn't have stood up for a million dollars. We were to leave the next day driving to FL. In February we almost lost our main stud, Gizmo. He got into a fight with Reggie, had to be rushed to the ER and kept over night with severe head trauma and ripped up the inside of his mouth pretty bad. Where were we? Driving home from FL! Gizmo is OK now but still has some wobblely spells. March 12th was my first store meeting at Home Depot at 6am, I was hired on the 4th. Sometime during the night, Sissy had 2 puppies. We lost both that day. March 27th Reggie, our matriarch and my baby, had 6 puppies. The following Monday I had an appointment to take the pups for their tails but changed my appointment until Tuesday because a co-worker had to go to court with her delinquent daughter and couldn't find anyone to work her shift, so I worked it. That morning we lost the little boy. The following day we lost Reggie leaving me with five baby girls to hand raise. She died in his arms before I had left the building. He believed she had a uterine infection or afterbirth stuck in the birth canal and told me even if he had seen her the day before, the results may have been the same. She didn't show any symptoms other than just not quite up to par, but she was seven and had just had six puppies. By the time the girls were 3 weeks old I had deposits on 2, an offer to buy or trade for one, and we were keeping one, leaving me with one to find a home for. The end of May one of the depositors requested waiting until a later litter because they had just sold their house and were getting married in the fall and didn't think it was fair to bring a new puppy into turmoil. June 4th I got an email from my best friends husband, she had died on May 31st. He sent the email to my old addy and didn't read it until Saturday June 4th. They live on the other side of the state and I went crazy trying to find out what her arrangements were but the calling hours were the night before and services that morning and I had to work at 4 and was finally able to get a hold of Don just before I walked into work. Boy was that night difficult. Our daughter tried to convince me that I wasn't meant to be there or I would have read that email sooner. For Father's Day I broke down and bought my husband a new hammock because the old one broke last year and knowing that on June 24th one of the girls would be going to her forever home and I would have a money to cover the bills. WRONG! It's strange how all week I just had a bad feeling about it. Sure enough, they can't come, car engine has to be replaced so no sale. And all those wanted our puppies when I thought I had the pups sold....... And because there is no sale, that means no money for gas to travel to trade the third girl. I offered a reduced price to the lady because I now have to sell and can't take on another pup, but now she's not sure......... OH CRAP! That's just the way things have been going. Sorry to let off steam, had to do it somewhere before I explode. And next month is just around the corner and more puppies on the way. Sorry, I had to get the OH WO IS ME out of my system!
