well to be honest when I started looking for my yorkie, I'd never heard of yt and didnt for a while later. but If I had read these threads over and over I still would have searched for one that wouldnt get over 3 or4lbs . That was just my choice and still is as far as what I would look for again. I think all people have preferences as to what they want and its their choice to make. As far as health is concerned, I think you can get an unhealthy larger one as well as a small one. I dont think breeders should breed for money, but if I had the money to buy the kind I wanted and knew it would stay about 3 or 4 lbs I would go tomorrow and get one, but most are unreasonably priced. To each his own. I would still love to have one about 3 or 4 lbs as long as it is healthy. I dont want to buy a 6 or 7 pounder that is sickly either as i'm sure nobody does. But things happen even to bigger ones. Maybe chances are slimmer, I would still take that chance to have a smaller one. As long as people keep breeding for smaller dogs, they still need a nice home and loving care as much as any other and I am a good mom to my yorkie and would be to any I have. I just dont want to be ripped off by a lying breeder who knows what their doing. Personally their isnt many people I would trust again to buy a puppy from period. Now I wouldnt trust the breeder again that I got kizzy from As I feel like I was used. But I love kizzy anyway, she cant help it.
