It's so sad... Oscar is from a wonderful breeder and my family has always gotten our dogs from breeders - it has never occurred to me to do otherwise. Everytime I go into Petsmart at the local mall and see all the dogs and the VARIETY of breeds, I can't help but feel sorry for the poor things. A lot of people I think are like me and feel sorry for them and want to buy them to 'save them' - it's a catch 22 really - you purchase a dog, thus supporting puppy mills, and that dog is replaced with another dog - the cycle just goes on and on.
