I know you hate to leave your puppy, but you are doing a good thing by leaving her with your parents instead of boarding him. He will be a lot more comfortable there. Before you leave for vacation, I would get a couple of clean towels and some old t-shirts and sleep with them in your bed for a couple of nights before your vacation. Then, when you leave your pup at your parents, you can also leave the towels and tshirt for your pup to sleep with and lay on. They will have your scent on them and it will really help to comfort your puppy. This is probably the best advice I can give. It really helps our puppies when we leave them at home even just during the day while we're at work.
