If she goes potty in the right place after you let her out of her crate, then you can leave her out to play for about 30 minutes. If you are going to be able to keep a close eye on her while you are at home, she actually can stay out of her crate. But, if you are going to be doing stuff around the house and are not going to be able to watch her really closely, then she needs to go back in her crate after 30 minutes of playtime.
