Maybe i will just not worry too much about him eatting in the am since he does eat for me in the PM
I am being 100% committed to his potty training – I guess that is what is so frustrating. I take him out several times when I am with him – take him on long walks, tell him to go potty and give him tons of praises and treats to the point of where my neighbors get comic relief out of seeing me do the “I am so happy you went potty out side for mommy dance”. He has occasional accidents in the house and that is what I do not understand but I guess he is still a puppy. Thanks for all the advice – it is nice to have people to help me calm down when I think the world is falling down around me. | Caren, since you take him too many times outside to do his thing, I am guessing he rarely does have accidents inside the house. Tiger is the same way . . . he is really good with the pad and can hold his pee for up to 7 hours but as soon as I let him loose throughout the house, he forgets to hold it and will start peeing as he becomes active and excited and starts running around. He is afterall still a puppy at 8 months old, and so is yours. So, I just make sure he is wearing a belly band so he and I are both happy . . .one day he will outgrow being so active (you think?!) and when that happens, there aren't any pee marks/smell to remind him . . . |
