that is really a good idea! no padding on the bottom portion? I have been trying to make some for this hot pavement also. I have made a couple of boots to test the type of material to use and sizing, etc. they have winter boots but those are too warm for this hot weather.
when I take Buckeye out. he will just stand there and look up at me.(meaning he wants me to carry him). so i pick him up and carry him to his favorite spot. a neighbor stopped in his car as he was passing by and yelled "that is no way for him to get his exerrcise". I just laughed and told him to reach down and feel the pavement. It was actually hot enought to burn my fingers.
