Mitzi doesn't like hot pavement either. So I made her booties that are comfy, cheap and easy to put on: I cut the fingers off 'Brahma' gloves and fix them with an elastic band with velcro at the ends.
Now she has no problems anymore and we don't have to worry about glass, stickers, bees and... and...
