Our neighborhood is old and has lots of shade, so we don't usually have this problem. But, if we're walking somewhere where the sun is baking the pavement, I walk where she can be in grass/dirt, etc. I've read somewhere, that they can actually damage their paws walking on hot pavement. I'll try to find the info.

If that's not an option for you (walking in shade or on grass) they do make cute little shoes. Or walk early in the day before the pavement heats up.
