I do most of my errands and shopping on my way home from work - when my dogs aren't with me.

I very rarely take them shopping. I don't like to leave them in the car - summer or winter .... seems like it's either too hot or too cold. Unless it's a short trip (in and out) someplace.

I take them with me when I visit people, etc. They're going to the lake with me this weekend -- first trip to the lake. We also do a lot of visiting with our neighbors and their dogs (daily).

I have two dogs - a Yorkie and a Bichon - they either both go - or they both stay home.

My Yorkie is about 10 pounds - he seems small to me.
