I've had to put dogs down before and although it was a hard decision I always knew I made the right decision. My last dog was very large, old and arthritic. It was really hard, but the next day when I looked out and she wasn't there it actually felt good knowing she was no longer in pain. |
Been there too with my white eskimo years ago..........was so hard, but as you said........looking out that window and knowing that Pepper was in Doggy Heaven made is all better.
So sad and hard to do though, will never forget that feeling of melting down the vets office wall ...............
