So i would like to put my puppy either on Wellness, Royal Canin puppy bites (switch to royal canin for yorkies when she's older), or Solid Gold. I was sure i was gonna put her on Wellness because that's what my cat eats but I have to go on a hunt sometimes to find it because petco doesn't sell it. petco does however sell both royal canin and solid gold. Which do you think is the better food? And is anyone's dog on the Royal Canin for Yorkies? Is it better then regular Royal Canin? |
The royal canin for yorkies is just a small breed size that is given to yorkies. I actually took my pup off of it becuase he was scratching like a bugger and I learnd all about corn allergies. Once I took him off he was better. I actually feed him Nutro Natural w/Oatmeal. He should be getting ready to do the adult food soon so I am going to switch to Merricks. I don't know much about the other foods you mentioned. Good luck with choosing. My shih tzu that I had years back was sent to me on BIL Jac and it's hard finding that as well. I switched him off of it. I try to evualate what the breeders give because some well established folks that I met would give food because they got it discounted or almost free from the companies as long as they used it and sent the pups home with it. That way the new owners would continue to buy it and keep their company sales going.
