It was about an inch and a half long, kinda flat. Orange in color.It was transparent looking and looked hollow with a round opening on one end. Almost tubular looking,but flattened. I'm calling the vet tommorrow. His last fecal was in December,05 neg. If anyone thinks this could be worms ,what kind? I looked at pics and didn't see anything that looked the same.
Also he has been hacking a few times a day for the last three days,like something is in his throat.

It sounds like a child's water balloon! Do you have kids? Or maybe a piece of something in the house like a plastic bag or a piece of a pen? It's strange that you found this at the same time this Hacking started. Maybe something is blocking the wind pipe or lodged in the esophagus. It seems that there may be a correlation here. Calling the vet would be a wise discission. I'll say a little Prayer for him and Keep us posted.
