We finally got him to stand still long enough to take a good look at it, and it is bent and torn in the dark part of the nail, so like I said, we just don't want to take the chance that it will start bleeding tonight. I can go in late to work tomorrow, and just run him by the vet first thing in the morning.

Yeah, as I said above, best to leave it alone. He'd scream bloody murder if you cut the quick! Good luck!
