 great idea
It has been many many years since I have lost a cat, dog..I have lost some guinea guys and rats ect, and they are truely missed, but dogs and cats interact more with you so the bond is a bit different.I do recall when I lost my cat of 12 years how the hurt was as if for a human, and when I lost my sister in 1993, she was 16, the pain was unbearable....my point is no matter who it is you lose, if you loved them you feel pain and this idea is a good one, something to hold, though not the same as holding your lost one, would give you a sense of comfort.
