Hmm...that is interesting and does make sense. For us though, while Reagan does bark at everyone who comes up it isn't agressively. Well yes it is but not in the aggressive "get out of my yard" kinda way. Its more like the aggressive "hey get over here and see me, NOW!" kinda way.
It does make a lot of sense though and seems like something good to start with so that they don't end up becoming aggressive. Good find.
