How true. After posting a couple of times about the miraculous turnaround in Bailey's potty training, we've had some setbacks. But they have all occurred when we allowed her to roam free in the house for longer periods than we should have and without keeping her continuously under observation. It gets tiresome, but until a puppy is reliably trained to where it will consistently go where it is supposed to go (and let us know when it needs to go), it should be either confined or observed EVERY WAKING MINUTE.

As much as we may blame them for being stubborn or some such thing, the truth is these little ones really want to please us. We just have to make it possible for them to do it.
