I just placed a thread earlier today in Breeder Talk YT to inform others about shipping into the US. All I know is now everyone needs a Broker to help with the paperwork through customs. From Europe to US it cost 400. for the shipping and then I have to pay my broker here in the US 200 for them to process the paperwork once it gets here to get through cusoms. And then my breeder had to hire her own broker there in her country and I do not know how much she paid for her broker to do her paperwork on her end. Everything is getting so expensive and if you do not hire a broker it takes a lot longer to go through and the puppy may have to spend the night in a kennel. So I do not want her to have to go through that - so I got a broker.
If you both contact the airlines - they can give you the numbers of the more reputable Brokers at the airport in your areas and they can tell you what you need to do and how much it will coast!
